Cooper is out for tonight, Egle moves up to the 2nd line. 1st (sophomore) line and 3rd (freshmen) line stays intact. Last night's 4th line of Quince, Joki, and Egle is history, tonight it's Dalpe, Gareau, and JC Maclean. On D Karjalainen is sitting tonight, Kuzmeski is playing. Hope to see a few slap shots from Shane tonight.

WHOOOOOOOO WHOOOOOOO
We won but really did not play well in the 2nd and 3rd periods
THE GOOD
Goals by Rempal, Gareau, Charyszyn and Sturm (EN)
Kielly with 25 saves
2 for 8 on the PP
THE NOT SO GOOD
Gave up a short handed goal
Did not score on a 1:45 Five on three PP
Rempal, yes he scored a highlite reel goal but too much puck hogging and diving afterwards

I made the same comment about Rempal last night while watching the game. They didn't become the #1 power play in the nation by having Rempal keep the puck and skate around. Like most power play lines, they're at their best when they set up and cycle the puck. Maybe you set up Rempal for a sniper shot, but it's efficient passing and having guys follow the shot to the net that has proven successful.
It wasn't the prettiest weekend or one you'd put up the tape to say that we're one of the nation's best, but they got the job done. Hopefully some ECAC teams can get some quality wins over Christmas break because the weakness of our conference so far this season could end up haunting us in the end.
