Michigan could be getting mixed up with Michigan Tech, who was confirmed by their coach before our series this season and then we go back out to Houghton in 21-22. Going to Oceanside Arena and Arizona State for two is going to be a pain, the ice surface there is a cruel joke. @ Holy Cross wouldn’t be just one game, hopefully it’s Providence or UML, maybe even Carvel at UMass, if it’s a Atlantic Hockey team that’d be disappointing. Milwaukee tournament has a solid slate with Arizona State, Wisconsin, UConn. It would make no sense for us to play 2 games non-conference at SLU next season and I just doubt that’s the case.

I thought when they announced the move of the 2nd game to Cheel, they said we would make it up with 2 NC games in Canton in 2020-2021. I agree it makes no sense, but that never stopped them before

From what I have gathered, the non-conference games this season were scheduled because someone dropped out on us late in the process which left us scrambling. I am not sure if there was ever a deal to go to SLU for two next season, but I am pretty sure most (certainly not all) non-conference games are scheduled in two-year contracts, one year at home, and the next on the road. I guess we will wait and see.

Aren’t we owed a return trip from Michigan and Penn State? They came to us in 2017–18, we went to Penn State for 2 in 2018–19, and then we went to Michigan for two this year. I believe the agreement was the same as it was supposed to be with Wisconsin and Minnesota (before Minnesota bailed on us last year).

Penn State first made the 2 year deal (2017-2018, 2018-2019) in 2015-2016 at the Three Rivers Classic. That means the deal is over, so no Penn State.
