          • End Of The 1st, Clarkson 2 RIT 0

Oldham was very solid in the first. His positioning was good, and is holding Clarkson in. Jacome & Callin with the goals.

Oldham still says very solid. Cooper has been putting in good effort, so has A. Campbell.

                          • FINAL: Clarkson 5 RIT 1

Oldham had a great game. He kept Clarkson in there, and made great saves. Cooper got 2 goals, Collins got his first carrer goal, and Alex Campbell was solid on offense.

                              • Romano for me has been the most improved player, he's aggressive driving down the wing using his speed and is being patient to create shooting lanes/getting in good areas for linemates to set him up, Jacome - Tsekos - Romano/A. Campbell - Dunne - Callin/Gosselin/Mobley is quite some top 6 that more shifts then not will be controlling play while also being comfortable defensively. Callin also is looking for that cut in toedrag wrist shot more often that he likes to get off using the defenseman as a screen and he's surprised a few goalies high/hitting the bar. Cooper getting into the areas that win you games is huge because we miss that a lot with Dunne, and good for him because he works hard to get back from these terrible injuries, really liked the Cooper - Gosselin - Silye line last night. Tsekos looks good and is such a complete player that reads the game and makes linemates so much better. We need more from Campoli, it's tough to see him play with little to no confidence even though the physical ability is there. Forwards aren't going to be much of the issue it seems although all 3 forwards could be better defensively helping out the defense, the 2nd or 3rd goal friday off a Clarkson offensive zone faceoff and RIT scored on a simple rush with a tap in 10 seconds after the faceoff, haven't seen that in quite some time. It's interesting in terms of the lineup choices, there's not much to pick from, no scratches in the stands besides 3rd goalie, hopefully we are rested Niagara is a team that wasn't great last year but was still good at home and with the circumstances of the times, every single team is going to be ready for every single game because they never know if that's the last one of the season.

McCarthy responded with a solid game, as did McFaul and Underwood who both looked great out there. Offensive production from the backend is going to be crucial for this team to take a big step. Beck showed it with the wrister and Power has shown glimpses but there's so much more from those two, Taylor looks a bit rushed with the puck at times, he's been the best along the boards with his compete of the 3 freshman and that's where Beck and Power need to grow. Good for Kris Oldham, he looked awesome and should be getting the next game until a stinker and then I think Haider deserves redemption because his team is the reason for 5 of those goals, I think he'd like the 6th one back but was flustered with all the defensive breakdowns and I can't blame him.
