Clarkson 1 LIU 1 after 1
SOG 13-2 CCT

Clarkson probably spent 15 of the 20 minutes in the LIU zone with little scoring chances. Poor puck control and passing. Finally got a goal by David on the PP setup by Giguere and one of the dmen I think. Giguere is now the all time leading scorer for CCT. LIU scores on the PP when our forwards get caught up ice and LIU breaks in 3 on 2, the LIU forward dekes 5 hole one of our d and passes to a wide open player in front and she scores top shelf.

THE GOOD
David, McQuigge sisters, Pigeon and Giguere with the goals.
Coulombe in the nets.
Most of the game was played in the Clarkson offensive zone.

THE NOT SO GOOD
Need a lot of work on passing and setting up plays in the offensive zone.

Zeglen has been great in net. Penalties are the biggest issue right now. Colgate's PP is good, and Clarkson isn't catching on.

I have to give it to Zeglen tonight. Even when Clarkson was down, she stayed solid in net. Lonergan scored late in the 3rd, to make it a 4-1 final. Women host Colgate Monday night at Cheel. Men's team plays tomorrow at 4 at SLU.

Not gonna win many/any games scoring 1 goal. Not much else to say.

4 goals in the first 10 mins of the first. Lonergan scored 11 seconds in, SLU tied it late in the first min. Mitchell, David other goal scorers. SLU not going with the usual Lucy Morgan in net, Jamie Rainville is in net.

Quinny 2 Clarkson 1 OT

I watched the whole game on ESPN+. Like the men's game the night before a great game to watch. Lots of chances on both sides. Mistake in the 3 on 3 OT leads to the winning goal by Quinny a little over 1 minute in. I dislike the 3 on 3 OT and not because we lost. Would rather see each team get an 5 x 4 extended PP of say 4 min. Whoever scores the most goals in the 4 min allotment wins.

THE GOOD
Gosling with the goal with a little over 2 min to go in the game.
Pasiechnyk was great in goal, Angers in the nets for Quinny was a little better stopping a couple of breakaways.

THE NOT SO GOOD
Quinny goal was a fluky one early in the third. Pasiechnyk gave up a rebound that was batted around and pinballed into the net from a Quinny player in front.
Hate saying it but it looks to me like Clarkson is the 3rd best team in the 4 team ECAC behind Colgate and Quinny,
Now 0-2-0-0-0-1 in the ECAC with 1 point tied with SLU for 3rd..
