I believe they never played RMU. Do they count anymore? If they do, I'm going with them and UConn.

A hockey program (make that two programs with men's and women's teams) is expensive to run, no real support at the the school, no income coming in (ticket sales), poor attendance, no boosters, renting an off-campus rink, etc. They decided to keep football which has been more popular. In the olden days (some would say the good old days) you could can the women's team and keep the men's, but not anymore. At least they waited til this past years Frozen Four was over in Pittsburgh.

Why don't they just announce the incoming class already, give us something to talk about/look forward to?

techtodenver on USCHO states that Clarkson is playing the 4 games against UAA, a home and home with Canisius, Michigan Tech, @ Wisconsin x2, @ ASU x2, and 2 games at Merrimack/UNH. Nothing was said about the game @ Providence.

I think it varies depending the league.

I think the NC$$ limit is 34 games total unless you have a series with an Alaska team then you get an extra 2 games. ECAC (Non-IVY) is 22 League games + 12 non conf = 34. The IVY Teams I think are limited to 28 or 30 games. Don't remember which and am too lazy to look up.

Caden Lewandowski has commited to Clarkson for next season. He was orgianlly supposed to play for Robert Morris. 6'4 D'man from Mars, PA. The same hometown as Greg Lewis '16.

Edit: He is the stepson of former Golden Knight Trevor Edwards.

Interesting that both Clarkson and Michigan Tech (similar schools, rural locations, etc.) marking 100 years of hockey this season. Might be an opportunity for some national exposure when they meet at Cheel on Oct 29-30.
