Let's see where it goes from here. Still time to right the ship, but this team should not be 1–4–0 at this point.
We have 12 games on the schedule prior to the Christmas break, 8 home, 4 away (2 at Lake State this weekend and at Quinny and Prinny). Any chance of going 10-2 in that stretch and righting the ship? That would put us at an 11-6 record, maybe ranked in the 20's in the pairwise with a game against UMass up right after the break. I can dream, can't I?

We can only hope the dream does not turn into a knightmare.
Clarkson barley wins 4-3 in OT after blowing a 3-1 lead with less than 5 minutes left in the third. Lake Superior scored with 1 second left in regulation, but Beck delivers in OT. Schmidt-Svejstrup (2) & Gosselin were the other goal scorers. Martino with 3 assists on the night. Haider makes 24 saves in the win.
First time writer, long time reader here. It’s almost as tho this team is struggling to find an identity. Could it be that the previous classes came in and gave the team a higher compete to mix with the skill? Jack Jacome is the perfect example. Need more guys like him.
Looks like the team has quit playing for Jones.
all the coaching turnover last few years can’t have helped
but this is ridiculous. LS is 55th ranked team in country.
At this point, league play is all that matters, the upperclassmen need to look themselves in the mirror and step up. We took for granted the teams we have with the Kielly + Sturm and if everyone stayed I think we would've been in good shape to make a run at the frozen four, now we don't have the balance, skilled soft players aren't the mold we need, I don't think we will ever see a Nico Sturm type progression again at Clarkson, these guys just aren't getting better. Great weekend for JSS though, I'm sorry he stepped in to the program when he did.
well everyone has a take on what is wrong with this team. So here is mine. This is the group the had season canceled for off ice party during "lockdown". Now they are "leaders" of the team. Just sayin' maybe they have Priorities else where.......

We are all entitled to our opinions, however, I do not think your case is valid, Jacome and others were part of that team and were leaders. Seeing that the PK is abysmal, I think it is an adjustment to the new coaching staff brought in late in the off season. We will see.
I'm giving it to New Years before mashing the panic button.
I agree that with the horrific OOC, the only path to the NCAAs is winning the post season tournament.
At this point, they're playing months of exhibition games in order to get the team right for the ECAC playoffs. Maybe it's the late coaching additions but honestly, I don't see that there's a bit of teamwork in this team.
Down 2-1 after 2. This team just has no rhythm and there's no teamwork. Haider is playing is head off but has no help. T. Taylor with the only Clarkson goal. Schmidt-Svejstrup had a goal dislowed in the 1st.
