Finally got to see Friday's game last night (saw Saturday's live). Certainly better performances and Haider looks to be a bit like the Haider we expected; though he could have tended both games in a rocking chair honestly. The defense stepped up on both nights. The offense is still disjointed but they cashed in on some opportunities. Cornell and Colgate are both decent but not good teams; hopefully this can be a springboard to some better results.

For the future schedule watchers out there, Casey said in the post-game interview with Cap that ASU, UMass, Cornell, and Clarkson are playing a Christmas tourney in Lake Placid next year, then the series with ASU will continue following year.
Any insight into why Casey threw the challenge flag on an alleged missed tripping minor early in the game? Why try to show up the ECAS refs, and with the quality of the Clarson video, what are the chances of seeing anything on video anyway? Resultant lost time out could have been valuable killing a penalty late in the 3rd or setting up a critical offensive or defensive zone faceoff late in the game or in OT.

Final: Clarkson 5 ASU 3
Wild finish right down to the end, but the Knights come out. Goals by Schmidt-Svejstrup (2), Callin, Martino, & Gosselin. Multiple penalites late in the game but Haider plays his head of to survive. First period was very rough, but they pulled everything together in the 2nd and 3rd. Clarkson has next weekend off before they head to Princeton & Quinnipiac December 2nd & 3rd.

McFaul's hit near the end of the game was spectacular, I watched it four times, would love to hear why he was DQ'd. Reminded me of Boro back in the day, hit people so hard the ref's figured it had to be a penalty.2013 Pick to Click Champion
