You got all these players with an extra year of eligibility. This past season, there were no limits on scholarships. Next year, it’s back to normal. I would guess that the majority in the portal just have the bonus year left.

Good with the transfer portal decreasing significantly. Just seems a professional free agency pool combined with the no scholarship limits. I understand the logic behind the grad year transfer to a degree as well, but... Still prefer it not exist. Jmo. I will be satisfied with winning without any "pickups".

Sadly though this is our equalizer, we won't be getting the best of recruits but we have been getting the best out of grad transfers.

Jerry York announced his retirement today. 50 years as a coach including his first 7 at Clarkson.

Kind of interesting that with a national championship at BGSU and four at BC, York was named Division 1 coach of the year (Spencer Penrose trophy) only once, 1977 at Clarkson (Dave Taylor's senior year).
