I am surprised a little bit that Shafer is going to continue after his health issues.

Josh Hague will be the Union head coach, sources tell CHN.
Good luck to him. He deserves a chance.
Let's see who in the current crop of recruits will follow him.Vicb

Our damn graduate school stole our coach! I liked Hauge, actually much more than I like Casey. You can tell the difference in recruiting since Hauge arrived. Towns has roots in the BCHL, I believe, so maybe we can get back deeper into that league (which has brought us many good players over the years), but I would expect Casey is going to look for someone with USHL ties.
On a side note, I've often wondered if Patrice Robitaille would be interested in coming back to coach.

We need a top notch recruiter. Not a coach. That is what Josh was when he came to the dirty dam years ago.
Also, Kudos to Casey as his coaching tree grows. Which will make this attractive to someone that is looking to break into the industry.
