    Clarkson 5 Merrimack 0 Final

Pretty good overall performance. Nice to see Petrie and Frenette on the ice and on the scoring sheet. Michelle P in the nets with a couple of great saves to preserve the shutout.

It’s nice to see Clarkson remember where the puck goes.

Boards look like they have more advertising than the past few years.

And, as usual, nobody there. Geez, when will the college and community embrace this team?

Women ranked #9 in the USCHO preseason poll. I think it's a bit of a reputation pick, but the team could also grow to outpace that ranking.

Clarkson women picked 5th in the coaches poll with Colgate as a unanimous first place (11 of 12 first place votes is unanimous because Colgate's coach cannot chose their own team). Haley Winn chosen as preseason all-conference.

Update: Apparently a microburst happened in Merrimack's rink so the games will be played at Cheel this season.
