Exactly right... HE split in '83 because the ECAC component was a big YAWN... after the split the ECAC was a HUGE YAWN, eventually morphing into a CAVERNOUS YAAAWWWNNNNNNN....

Dick and Bill, you guys are right... the Golden Age of Clarkson Hockey essentially ended with Lenny's departure in '72... no "best" list could be complete without Corby Adams, '62 and Steve Warr, '72... re '56 - never saw them but I knew Zeke Ziebarth very well... Cornell was all but unbeatable...

There's a very narrow range of external people who would fit in with the Clarkson hockey culture; Frazier wasn't one of them... of course, he was hired by Brown, who didn't fit either....

I was in the administration at the time... I'll be glad to write again, but I seriously doubt he'll get parole, at least for another couple of decades, -- *maybe* after 50 years in Attica... he'd be about 75, if he doesn't expire first....
